Baklava

Baklava is a rich, sweet dessert pastry made of layers of filo dough filled with chopped walnuts and cinnamon and sweetened and held together with delicious homemade syrup or honey.
It is a characteristic of the cuisines of Middle East, along with South Caucasus, Balkans, the Maghreb and Central Asia.
It is usually made in a big oven pan but I improvised and made it in a cupcake pan which turned out great!
