Cabbage Pudding

When the master himself is in the cuisine!
My husband is preparing one of his favorite Swedish dishes, "Kålpudding" or "Cabbage pudding" , fried cabbage with minced meat, baked in the oven.
Here is a step by step demonstration by my hubby!
It is a delicious and nutritious dish, you should try it.








Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil
1 head green cabbage, cored and shredded
Salt and pepper, to taste
500 grams ground beef
1 big yellow onion, chopped
½ cup heavy cream
1 vegetable stock
1 egg
1 tablespoon syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Here's how to prepare it:
Preheat the oven to 200 C
Chop the cabbage and fry it in oil until they are soft and golden.
Add salt, pepper and syrup.
Mix the minced meat with the chopped onion, cream, soy sauce, salt & pepper.
Place half of the cabbage mixture at the bottom of the pan.
Put the meat in the middle and finally cover it with the rest of the cabbage mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes.
