Cannelloni stuffed with minced meat and spinach.

"Cannelloni" translates from Italian as "big tubes" or "large reeds".
Cannellonis are cylindrical type of lasagna baked with a filling which include minced beef or spinach and ricotta or you can mix them all together!
The shells are then typically covered with Marinara sauce and cheese.
Some people add Béchamel sauce on top, which gives it a yummier taste.
I personally love this dish and I would like to show you how I make from A to Z.


Ingredients for the dough:( makes 14 cannellonis)
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup mlik
Mix well and start cooking them in a hot pan.



Ingredients for the filling:
250 grams minced meat
2 diced onions
4 cloves of garlic
1 diced tomato
A handful of mushrooms
1 cup of frozen spinach
Salt & pepper to season
2 tablespoons of butter


After stuffing the dough sheets with meat & spinach mixture, place them in the pan and add marinara sauce (tomato sauce, garlic & herbs such mint and oregano) on top of the cannellonis. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.


Bake at 200 C for 45 minutes.
