Swedish shrimps & salmon cake

"Smörgås tårta", sandwich-cake" or "sandwich-tart" is a dish of Swedish origin popular in Sweden, Estonia, Finland and Iceland. It is a savory cake that is similar to a sandwich, but with large amounts of filling and garnish, similar to a layered cream cake.
A smörgåstårta is normally made up of several layers of white or light bread with creamy fillings in between. The fillings and toppings vary, but egg and mayonnaise are often the base. Additional filling may vary greatly but often include one or more of the following:
Liver pâté, olives, shrimps, ham, various cold cuts, caviar, avocado, tomato, beetroots, cucumber, lemon slices, cheese, and smoked salmon.
Smörgåstårta is served cold and cut like a cake. The types of sandwich cakes vary from meat, fish, combinations of cheeses and meats, to vegan. The top garnish often reflects the ingredients used as a filling.
Make sure to make quite a big size because this cake vanishes fast!



Ingredients:
White toast bread
1 lemon, salt and pepper to taste
1 jar of mayonnaise
1 pack of crème fraîche
1 pack of cream cheese
200 grams of shrimps
200 grams smoked salmon
1 cucumber
Fresh dill
3 hard-boiled eggs
1 avocado
2 boiled beetroots
Cherry tomatoes

-Cut the crusts and place the toasts on a flat plate.

-Prepare the first layer of the cake which is avocado, dill, mayonnaise & parsley and spread it on the bread.

-Cover it with a layer of bread.
-Second mixture consists of boiled eggs,salt,pepper,mayonnaise & dill.

-Cover it with a layer of bread. -Third layer is the smoked salmon seasoned with salt,pepper & dill.

-Cover it with a layer of bread.
-Fourth layer is shredded beetroots, mayonnaise,salt & pepper.

-Cover it with a layer of bread
-Fifth layer is shrimps, mayonnaise, salt,pepper & dill.

-After covering the last layer with the remaining bread, cover it with a plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge till next day.

-Mix the crème fraîche, cream cheese and mayonnaise all together and spread them on the cake, covering all sides & edges.
-Use your imagination to decorate your cake by using fresh dill, boiled eggs, lemon,cucumber,cherry tomatoes, shrimps and salmon.
-Refrigerate.
-Start cutting & serve cold.
